Caro are a high-end boutique clothing brand who approached Jepson Rae towards the end of 2011. Their existing e-commerce website was under-performing and wanted to replace it with a brand new one. A priority for the new website, as well as making it look great, was to have a content management system that was user-friendly for their staff to keep the website up-to-date.A full re-design was undertaken, focusing on displaying the beautiful product photography which Caro already used in their printed “Look Book”. The management of the store is carried out using a commercial content management system, Expression Engine, through which Caro employees can manage the store’s stock levels and orders, as well as edit site content and blog posts.
The new website was launched early in 2012 in time for Easter, and sales have been steadily improving ever since.
